Trudy Louise Knight

God called to rest a beautiful soul on July 2, 2020, Mrs. Trudy Louise Jackson Knight.

She was born in Elizabeth, N.J. on December 25, 1954 to the late Leonard Jackson Sr. and Margaret Nellie Carey Jackson.

Trudy attended the Elizabeth Public School System, went on to be employed by the Elizabeth Board of Education for 45 years and while employed she obtained her boilers license.

On August 25, 1973 Trudy married the love of her life, Raymond Dennis Knight and from that union they were blessed with 5 children and 12 grandchildren.

Trudy held many roles and titles in her family, Wife, Mother, Grandma, “Puma”, Sister, Aunt and Friend. She loved to sew in her spare time and was always available for her family especially her children and grandchildren. She had so many friends over the years who became family.

Trudy was predeceased in death by her parents Leonard Jackson Sr. and Margaret Jackson, Son- Raymond “Knight” Jackson, brothers Charles “Chucky” Jackson and Roland Jackson.

She leaves to cherish fond memories with her husband Raymond Knight, Daughters Ramona Knight (AL), Rhona Knight (Stanley), Sons- Ronnell Knight (Tamika), Rodney Knight (Stacey). Siblings- Shirley Carey, Leonard “Butchie” Jackson, Lenore Jackson (Larry). In-Laws Jimmy Knight, Karen Knight, Janice McDuffie and April Knight. Special cousin Wendy Shivers and Work Sister Alfonsina Scaglia. A host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends.
