Sheila Diana Lewis

Sheila Diana Lewis was born September 29, 1957. The third child out of nine children to Ezell Hunter and the late Edith D. Hunter.

Sheila grew up in Elizabeth and attended the Elizabeth Public School system where she graduated from Battin High School in 1975.

Sheila met and fell in love with Edmond Lewis Jr. They were married for forty-five years, through this union they were blessed with four children, Edmond Jr. 3rd, Selena, Clarence and Sheila. She was blessed with eight grandchildren, Tyania, Tateania, Tiyona, Clarence Jr., A’saya, Umar, Martin and Saniyah.

Sheila was a fun loving person, she loved listening to gospel music, playing with grandchildren, watching moving, playing cards, reading, doing crossword puzzles, and listening to old school jams. She loved going out to shop with her daughters, she also loved dancing with her husband and gathering with family and friends. Sheila will truly be missed.

Sheila was employed at Federal Home Bank of New York from 1984 - 2017. Sheila was a Customer Service Representative for thirty-three years before retiring in 2017 due to some health problems.
