Pernell I Powell

"There is only one happiness in life, to give love and be loved" this quote represents the life of Pernell Isoline Grant Powell. She emerged into this world on December 21, 1935 to Rosetta Miller & Christopher Grant.

She started the journey for here ten siblings, five of whom preceded her.

After graduating from the Mt Pleasant All Age School, and in in the quest of her own personal development she migrated to the United Kingdom in-the year 1958.There she gave of her service for many years at the London Transport as a Dietician

She met and married the love of her life Lennon Powell on October 5, 1979

She migrated to the United States in 1973 where she graduated from nursing school in the 80's. She worked part time at the Elizabeth Nursing Home for 28 years. After retiring, she became a real-estate entrepreneur and shared in the business with her husband. Here she mastered the accounting aspect of the business

To her siblings she was their Santa Clause without the sleigh or the outfit. On her many visits to Jamaica she touched the lives of the entire community from the youngest babe to the most senior persons. She epitomizes love in all her doings. She never forget kindness irrespective of how minute it was, especially if someone touched her mother

Lives are like rivers, they go where they must; so did Auntie Pearl or Aunty Pearly on January 29, 2021. We love you endlessly.
