Obituary

Paula Lawrence was born June 1, 1954 in Jersey City, New Jersey, to the late Philip T Lawrence and Freddie L Lawrence.

On Wednesday April 14th she entered rest at Trinitas Hospital in Elizabeth, New Jersey surrounded with hospital staff.

Paula was one of nine children she was blessed to have two children, Life was not easy for Paula, but she was the soul and strength of all her siblings.

She not only enjoyed cooking, she was great at it and most of all she loved all sorts of music and enjoyed D.J. at family events.

Paula was a manager at National State Bank Coin Depot for 20 years in Elizabeth, New Jersey.

Paula graduated from Battin High School in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Paula attended Union County College in Cranford for Social Worker and attended Essex County College in Newark, New Jersey for Accountant.       

Paula is preceded in death by her father Philip T. Lawrence, mother Freedie L Lawrence, brother Franklin Lawrence and sister Adrienne Lawrence.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories daughter Yvonne M. Lawrence, son Marlin Lawrence (Tonya), granddaughter Vershay Lawrence, special companion Willa Barnes and her two children Takierah, Melvin Barnes, sisters Pamela Lawrence(Twin), Diane Cox (Ernest), Deborah L Wilson (Christopher), brothers William, Philip (Robin), Daryl (Monica), and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and friends.

Special friends, Betty Grady, Burton family, Crawford and Clark family.
