Norman Dwayne Pullen “Chico” was born in Elizabeth New Jersey on November 1, 1978 to Patricia Pullen and the late Norman Pullen. Chico was a fun and energetic child who enjoyed spending time with his cousins. As a teenager he moved to Charlotte NC and graduated from West Mecklenburg High School receiving his high school diploma.
Chico had a unique love for sneakers and was often found sporting his favorite pair while lounging on the porch. It was here that his personality shined the most, interacting with his family, sharing laughs and making memories. Chico was also well known as a sports fan, forever cheering for his favorite team the New York Giants. He enjoyed playing his favorite video games with the family that he cherished. Chico’s love for Madden and 2K was unmatched!
Chico had so much goodness, and a special ability to bring happiness to others in the purest way. He had an intense love for his family, creating a host of memories with his cousins, aunts and uncles. He took great pride in his role as god father to Nassir and his little buddy Saige whom he shared a very close bond with.
Chico’s mother was his biggest supporter. He enjoyed her delicious homemade meals and the countless hours of quality time that can never be replaced.
Chico’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were close to him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.
Chico leaves behind his beloved mother and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
