Mary Elizabeth Murry Thompson

Mary Elizabeth Murry-Thompson was born on April 25, 1958 to the late Levon and Gloria Thompson in Dillion South Carolina. She was their oldest child. Mary was raised in Elizabeth, NJ. She was a general worker doing different jobs throughout her life.

Mary was a member of the Glorious Hope Baptist Church and served on the usher board. Mary loved her family and friends. She enjoyed playing cards, scratch offs, pick-its and getting together with her family. Mary was a very caring person who was loved by everyone. Mary death was passed unexpected on September 9, 2020.

She is preceded in death by her mother Gloria Thompson and her father Levon Thompson, brothers Ronnie Thompson and Lamont Thompson.

Mary leaves to cherish her loving memories her daughter Kyona Thompson, grandson Keion Hunter, sisters Barbara Thompson and Lakeisha Wheeler, foster sister Mamie Gardner, god-daughter Anyae Brown, husband Ronald Murry, nieces Mellissa, Ebony, Tara, Shyiah, Lahna, nephews Tyshon, Laquan, Travis, Farrakhan and Myles, a host of loving aunts, uncles cousins and close friends.
