ERNEST L. FARMER, SR. KNOWN AS "BOO" WAS BORN ON JULY 6, 1945, IN BEDFORD, VIRGINIA. HE WAS BORN TO HIS LATE PARENTS ROBERT FARMER AND LUCY ROBERTSON FARMER. HE WAS ONE OF 7 CHILDREN. ERNEST WAS CALLED HOME ON OCTOBER 22, 2023.
ERNEST BELIEVED IN FAMILY VALUES. FAMILY WAS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN THE WORLD TO HIM. ERNEST HAD A VERY CARING HEART AND WAS ALWAYS TAKING CARE OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS. HE WAS ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP OTHERS HOWEVER HE COULD. ERNEST LOVED PEOPLE AND ENJOYED LIFE. HIS KINDNESS, SMILE AND CHEERFUL VOICE COULD ALWAYS LIGHT UP A ROOM.
ERNEST WAS A HARD WORKER. HE HAD VARIOUS OCCUPATIONS, BUT HIS TRUE PASSION WAS HIS DAYS OF BEING A TRUCK DRIVER. AFTER MANY YEARS OF TRUCK DRIVING, HE TURNED TO WORKING ON CARS, LAWNMOWERS AND ANYTHING ELSE HE COULD FIX. ERNEST WAS A HUGE WRESTLING FAN WHO HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO ATTEND SHOWS AND EVEN MEET SOME OF THEM. HE LOVED KARATE AND WESTERN MOVIES, AND ALSO, HE LIKED COLLECTING HATS.
ERNEST DEPARTED THIS LIFE ON OCTOBER 22, 2023, SURROUNDED BY HIS FAMILY. ERNEST LEAVES BEHIND HIS LOVING WIFE MARY FARMER, DAUGHTER LATONYA FARMER, SON ERNEST FARMER, R, SON JAMES FARMER, LATE SON ERIC FARMER, HIS LATE BROTHERS BOBBY FARMER AND ROBERT LOUIS FARMER, HIS SURVIVING SIBLINGS BROTHERS: JIMMIE FARMER, LOUIS MILLER, STANLEY FARMER AND SISTER BARBRA FARMER WILLIAMS, AND A HOST OF GRANDKIDS AND OTHER LOVING RELATIVES AND CLOSE FRIENDS WHO LOVED, ADORED AND CHERISHED HIM DEARLY.
