Dawn was born on March 27, 1968 in Elizabeth, New Jersey and was predeceased by both her parents Father, John Edward Clark and Mother Audrey Tucker. Dawn was educated in the Elizabeth school district and will be fondly remembered for her singing and love for her family. As a child she joined the New Beth Baptist Church in Elizabeth, NJ.
When Dawn crossed your life path, she always made you laugh. Her Personality was bigger than life itself. She was very loved by her family and friends. Dawn had so many hobbies such as skating, dancing, and just like her family members her voice was beautiful. She was always singing. One of her favorite songs was His eye is on the Sparrow.
Dawn was affectionately called Granny, Chickie , Bae, Auntie, Chickie Head, and Sissy by her close family members. Her love and memories of her caring spirit will remain with us forever. As a family we are honored to have been loved and cared for so deeply by her.
Dawn leaves to mourn her passing: Her Husband, Bellini Basnight, 6 sons, Samaad Young, Erick Tucker (Khadijah Moore), Salahuudin Kenner, Jahwann Kenner, Treyvon Tucker, and Al-Raheem Muneer Tucker. Extended childen: Demrick, Bellini Jr, Eliza Basnight, and Jonathan Guerrero. Along with the joys of her life 5 grandchildren. Jyonah, Erick Jr, Kalani, Lonnie, Samaad Jr. and Zaire.
Her Granddaughter Jyonah was the love of her life, you had to wonder who was taking care of who because Jyonah wanted to take care of Granny rather than play outside.
