Yolanda “Lonnie” Green was born on July 9, 1972, in Paterson, NJ to Marion Young-Green and the late Willie B. Green, Sr. She gained her wings on November 13, 2021, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Paterson, NJ.

Lonnie studied at Paterson Public School #25, Eastside High School and Passaic County Community College, Paterson, NJ. She worked as a Home Health Aide for many years. Lonnie was a very sensitive soul. She loved and cared for everyone.

Lonnie was predeceased by her father; Willie B. Green, Sr., maternal grandparents; Gilbert Young, Sr., and Ruth E. Eubanks (Young), paternal grandparents; Roosevelt Green, Jr., and Estelle Thelma Green, brother; Willie B. Green, Jr., aunts; Ruth Ash, Grace Young, Carrie Bolling, and Lillian Mason, and uncles; Gilbert Young, Jr., Brandon Eubanks, and Kenneth Young.

Lonnie leaves to cherish her fond memories to her mother; Marion Young-Green of Paterson, NJ, daughter; Jamyra Brimley of NJ, son; Sean Green of Haledon, NJ, granddaughter; Mi’kyla Walker of NJ, brothers; Anthony “Tony” Young and Gilbert “Gee” Young of Paterson, NJ, aunts; Elayne Young, Chelina Stevens (Keith), of Paterson, NJ, Jane Baker of Clifton, NJ, Rosalyn Green of Newark, NJ and Velma Acevedo of East Orange, NJ, uncles; Oliver Young (Monica) of Budd Lake, NJ and Charles Young (Roseann) of Paterson, NJ, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
