Weder Collins

November 30, 1930 — November 30, 2019

Weder Thomasina Collins née Golden was born May 5, 1931 in Liberty County, Georgia to the late Jessie & Alice Golden.

A Time To Live - Isaiah 38:16

At length Weder later moved to New Jersey and joined her sisters Gladys & Jesten moving right next door to them.

Weder ultimately went on to work in the pharmaceutical industry at Schering Plough now known as Merck & Co where she retired in 1994. Weder liked to keep busy so she decided to return back into the workforce part-time for Jewish Family Services as a certified home health aide and Easter Seals as a receptionist.

Weder joined Mount Zion Pentecostal Church in Elizabeth, NJ under the leadership of Bishop Jesse McNeil until she could no longer transport herself. She then joined St.Paul Baptist Church in Elizabeth, NJ under the leadership of Pastor Bill Johnson as long as she could.

Weder loved attending worship services and praising the Almighty God and teaching all those who interacted with her about the importance of faith. When not in the Lord’s house Weder enjoyed spending time with her family and friends or talking on the phone.

A Time To Love - Ecclesiastes 3:8
