Sha'Nique Patrice Holliday

We come here today to remember the legacy of Sha’Nique Patrice Holliday (Nunu/Nique). She was born on October 10, 1986 in Plainfield, NJ to Phyllis Richardson (raised by Phyllis and Kasim Richardson). She was educated through the Plainfield public school system. She was called home on April 25, 2021.

Sha’Nique was full of life, bright, and had a vibrant personality. She had a unique career path before she found something she was truly passionate about. She worked at a photography studio, an office, retail, and entertainment. However, none of those compared to her passion of interior design and making sure she provided the best life to Heaven.

Recently, she had passed her Real Estate exam, which she was excited to share with her family and friends. She worked diligently to accomplish the goals she had set forth for herself. In fact, she was consistently creating new goals as she accomplished older ones.

Sha’Nique had a host of hobbies, in addition, to her love of interior design and Heaven. She loved to throw get-togethers to spend time with family and friends. She loved the party scene where she was able to socialize with those around her. She enjoyed watching HGTV and other various cooking shows.

Sha’Nique is preceded in death by her nana, Josephine Simmons. She leaves behind her daughter, Heaven; her parents, Phyllis and Kasim, her siblings, Kierra, K’Sean, Nikoy, and Sha’Nae, and a host of other close family and friends.

Today, we ask that no one is sad as we celebrate the life of Sha’Nique. We hope that you smile as you remember her voice, her laugh, and her witty remarks. We hope that you dance when you hear her favorite songs. We hope that you continue to love as that’s what she would’ve done.
