Margarita Gonzalez

Margarita S. Gonzalez, affectionately known as "Lita," peacefully passed away on May 16, 2025, in Elizabeth, NJ, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 73 years old. Born on July 22, 1951, in Santiago, Chile, Margarita was widely known for her nurturing heart, unconditional kindness, and calm disposition. She devoted her life wholeheartedly to her family, finding immense joy in the roles of wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Although life placed distances between Margarita and her beloved sisters and family in Chile, she constantly nurtured the bonds, ensuring closeness through boundless love and support. A proud and devoted mother, Margarita considered her children, cherished grandchildren and great grand child her greatest achievements and her life's passion. Her gentle spirit brought comfort and tranquility to all who knew her. Margarita was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Manuel Santiago Augeraud. Her lasting love, warmth, and strength remain forever in the hearts of her children, her cherished grandchildren and great grand-child, her sisters and entire family all those touched by the grace of her spirit. In her memory, we reflect on the words of Isaiah 26:3, "You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast." May Margarita's example guide and comfort us always.
