Kaleiyah-Brooke T Davis

February 4, 2002 — April 29, 2021

Held first by her Nana Annette, Kaleiyah-Brooke Toneele Davis was born February 04, 2002 to Desiree Davis In Long island New York. Kaleiyah-Brooke also known as KK was a vibrant, kind & genuine spirit. She was a student in Montclair school district from 2012-2019 & Job Corps in Glenmont, NY until 2020.

Kaleiyah was young, wild & free. Shy yet outgoing & usually afraid to disappoint the ones she loved the most. She was someone you could tell anything, and she held those secrets close to heart. She was fearless until it came to mascots & Chuck E. Cheese.

She was your typical girly girl. Pink was her absolute favorite color & butterflies and glitter made everything better. She was blessed with the ability to do hair and she loved doing her own nails making them long & dramatic. Her love for music kept her happy, goofy, constantly smiling, dancing & even trying to sing.

KK was incredibly close to her sisters Nemari and Cheyenne; usually walking around Montclair making TikTok videos, having heart to heart conversations, taking trips to the mall or probably tripping over her feet because she was definitely the clumsiest person in the world.

KK loved her uncles; they made her laugh the most, cracking jokes about her hair & chubbiness. She especially loved babies and children; something about her presence just drew them to her. They instantly loved her, as she did them. Her niece Graelyn was her world; she loved dressing her up & taking trips to the park or to hang out with her friends. She would have loved to be a mom, in our hearts & hers she was a second mom to Graelyn & also her god brother Zamari.

Her impact was incredible. Kaleiyah was someone you could meet once & never forget. Her laugh & golden spirit will be missed so dearly. She will live through her mother Desiree Davis, her father Derrick Dukes, stepfather Roderick Stewart, her oldest sister Nemari Martin-Benejan & baby sister Cheyenne Davis, her niece Graelyn Benejan, her grandparents Annette Lee & David Benejan; Christine Dukes & William Bolling, her uncles Matthew & Joshua Benejan and their wives (her aunts) Nancy & Miosme, her aunt Alicia Bolling, Godmother Sharell Sanders, and a host of cousins, family & best friends. Our time with Kaleiyah was brief but she will live in our hearts forever & day.
