Judge White Jr.

Judge White Jr. was born on October 3, 1935 in Louisiana to Judge White Sr. and Lealer (Harris) White.

Judge was the youngest sibling of his family, he had five brothers.  Sylvester  White Sr., Frazier White,  Robert White, Isaiah (Curly) White, Frank White and three sisters. Inez (White) Newman, Pinkie (White) Caldwell, Melvina (White) Hall. The family moved to Chaton Alabama when he was 2 years old. At the age of 10, Judge, his siblings & parents moved to Elizabeth New Jersey.

Judge White Jr. received a formal education in the Public Schools System of Elizabeth, NJ. Judge graduated from Thomas Jefferson H.S. in 1953 in Elizabeth, NJ. After graduation Judge White Jr. worked for the lrvington Board of Education of Irvington NJ. for many years. Before retiring in 1998. He was a member of Faith Temple Church in Elizabeth NJ and served the Deacon board. Judge loved to read the bible; his favorite was reading Psalms.

Judge White Jr. was formerly married to Thelma White, and from that union, they had 7 children. He loves his children, Grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He loved spending time with his family. During his stay at the nursing home, his son in-law Calvin made him happy by telling him corny jokes. And he had some jokes for us too. Dad had a good sense of humor. Dad will be sadly missed, and we all love him.

Judge White Jr. preceded in death by his late Son Jerry White and his late Daughter Jeanette B. Hartwell and Granddaughter Jeanette “Net” Hartwell, Great-grand Son Ibnjermeal Quari Hartwell, and his longtime friend and soul mate Bertha Partlow.

He leaves to cherish his memory his Daughter Beverly A. (White) Uzoaru and her husband Emmanuel Uzoaru Daughter Loretta (White) Brown and her husband Calvin Brown, Son Chris White and his wife Arlecta (Pritchett) White, Son Harry Leroy White, Daughter Sarah Lisa Anderson and her Fiancé Mark Vaxter Sr., Daughter Thelma ( Libby) Smith And host of Grand children, Great-grand children, Sibling, Brother in Laws, Sister in Laws, Nieces, Nephews and a host of others family and friends.
