Bernice I. Dow was born on September 24, 1949, in Georgetown, Guyana. She married and welcomed Sheldon, Sherlock, Sean and Samantha into the world, raising them with a depth of love and dedication that shaped their lives. Her home was a welcoming refuge, always filled with unconditional love. She carried herself with grace and dignity, bringing calm to every space she entered. A masterful cook, Bernice transformed simple ingredients into extraordinary meals, always preparing enough to share, each dish offered from the heart. A woman of deep Christian faith, she lived with humility, resilience, and style while touching countless lives with her kindness. Her gentle spirit uplifted others, and she embodied what it meant to live faithfully and trust fully in God’s promises. Bernice is survived by her four children and in-loves, sixteen grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren, and lovingly remembered as the eldest daughter of twenty-two siblings. Predeceased by her parents and four siblings, she leaves behind a large and loyal family along with cherished friends. Deeply loved and profoundly missed, her legacy endures through every life shaped by her wisdom, faith, and enduring love.
