Badriyyah Nasheed Ali

Badriyyah Nasheed Ali (Brenda Williams) was born on April 17,1953. She was raised in Elizabeth where she attended Elizabeth school system. She graduated from Battin H.S then furthered her education at Essex County College

Badriyyah met her ex-husband Abdul-Rahmaan Ali and from that union they had 3 beautiful daughters. Even after the divorce they remained very good friends.

Badriyyah was currently engaged to Charles Morgan.

Badriyyah was so full of life. To know her was to love her. She loved bowling & Atlantic City, if you were looking for her those were the 2 places to start. She loved nothing more than her daughters, that is until the grands & great grands came along, they stole her heart. There wasn't anything she wouldn't do for any of us. It only took 1 call no matter the time of day, she was coming. She also loved going to Greg games, no matter the time, place or weather she was there. Everyone knew who she was, she made sure of that. She was his #1 fan. She was known to many as another Mom. She is truly going to be missed.

She was predeceased by her parents Carolyn Williams, Melvin Williams Sr. and  David Thomas also a brother Melvin Williams Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory 3 daughters Sabriya Ali-McQueen, Jamilah Coley, Karima Ali, 8 grandchildren Abdul Ali,Tammanika Myers, Samir Thomas, Tanae'  Hopson, Ckaane Jeffries, Najiyyah Dunn, Gregory McQueen Jr, and Shahadah McQueen, 3 great-grands Samir Thomas, JaMari Brown and Milani Jeffries, 1 son-n-law Ahmad Coley, her fiance Charles Morgan, 5 sisters Waradah Johnston, Yvonne Williams,Katherine Woodley, Barbara Thomas, 1 brother Kevin Williams,  2 special daughters RaMeshia Mitchell and Lindorra Rivera also a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews along with a host of family & friends
